The Pontifical Counsel for the Pastoral Care
of Migrant and & Itinerant People holds an
International Congress for The Apostleship of the Sea's
(AOS) very five
years. These Congress gathers those who care for seafarers & fishers
from around the world for a week on
presentations, discussion, prayer &
fellowship. The Apostleship of the Sea also
runs a series of regional & national
conferences on a regular basis.
Both the International Christian Maritime Association (ICMA) and International Committee on
Seafarers Welfare (ICSW) also hold international & regional conferences
and training programs to help those who care
for the people of the sea and promote the
plight of seafarers & fishers.
This Library contains documents published by the Vatican and papers & documents presented at
conferences, promoting and encourage the
care for seafarers & fishers.
